Avoid Conflicts of Interest

The resolution of conflicts of interest are expressed throughout Carifika Global, if you are faced or engage into a conversation that may result in a conflict of interests remember to keep a calm and cool head. These are caused by a personal benefit, or competitive behavior, communication breakdown, the incompatibility of working together, but the main reason is when a person chooses personal gain over the duties to an organization in which they are a board member or partner of  their position for personal gain in some way.

When you feel a conflict of interest arising, make an assessment of yourself and of the person that you are engaging to see what you can do to maneuver the conflict of interest and to curve it where it doesn't not come into play into the conversation. If you get into a situation where you have exhausted your areas to resolve it, leave it alone by letting the person finish engaging, respond in a positive way and walk away from it by letting them know your focus on something else.

If you are in a business situation that you find will spark a conflict of interest, please consult Carifika Global’s Director of Human Resources.

When you are in a situation in which competing loyalties could cause you to pursue a personal benefit for you, your friends, or your family at the expense of Google or our users, you may be faced with a conflict of interest. All of us should avoid conflicts of interest and circumstances that reasonably present the appearance of a conflict.
